So, on Monday, we started off at the beach and pool, as we did everyday. Here are some cute shots of the morning. Oh, and I did International Water Aerobics that morning, too (called international, because our instructors were from Japan and Mexico- I am serious!!) There will be pictures of that in the next post!

Alex and some other boys had a game of basketball going...for about 5 minutes, but they did it in the 8ft, and most couldn't tread that long, including Alex, so he quit!

Grandma bought ice cream at the pool nearly everyday! The kids loved that !!

After a few hours at the Lazy River Pool, we headed down to the beach again, so here are some more pics of the amazing ocean.

Working on a "Family Sand Castle" - there was competition going on later, but we chose to do ours at this time since we were going out to eat when the offical one started.
The completed castle with us that worked very hard on it!!
Celeste carried around this pail nearly everytime we went to the beach- she would stop and collect shells and carry water back to the castle for us- she was so funny.
Dana got out on the boogie board today- I went with him later- some of the waves were really big!

After we left the beach, we took a rest, showered, and headed to North Myrtle Beach to a placed called Barefoot Landing- it is a shopping place on water with restaurants and fun stuff to do- they let off fireworks at 10 pm, so we stayed for them, too! This place is really fun, with lots of fun shops and great jewelry! We love it there!

There were huge fish in this pond, and rumor has it that alligators live there too! There is even an alligator adventure that you can do where a boat takes you out in the water looking for it!

Celeste loved this guitar- she really wanted it, but we had to put it back! She loves to rock out!
The dancing crew at Johnny Rockets, along with Alex and I do the "Cha Cha Slide" while everyone watches- though I am certain that we weren't supposed to dance along, but we did and it was so fun!
After we cha-cha'd!

Grandma bought us creamy orange drinks to keep us cool before the fireworks!

They loved the show, but Leah thought it was a little loud, hence the holding in her ears!
All of us girls got new jewelry that night! SO cute!!
Celeste is apparently very pleased with the firework display!

Dana had Alex take this shot- he loves pics like this- we have one of us like this on the Santa Monica Pier- it is one of his favorites- he is odd, I know!
Alex has become quite the photographer for us!

That concluded Monday, now here are some Tuesday shots- this day we stayed at the resort the whole day, and ate lasagna in our room- we had a really fun day! The weather was just fantastic, except at rest time, when a storm loomed ahead: the lifeguards cleared the beach and locked the pools for about 2 hours, though the storm passed and never rained on us! It was another perfect day!
Celeste "swam" all day like this in the 1 foot pool!
After Alex and Leah did a "treasure hunt" on the beach, they got to make balloon animals with the balloons they found- Alex got a monkey on a tree!

They loved this area- you get totally soaked under these buckets and water squirters!

Looking for "treasures" in the sand- Grandma is an expert on how to find the best shells!
Alex was digging this whole for nearly an hour- he was so proud of himself!
Here we are again, looking for the beautiful shells- we only found a few, though.
Another family castle creation!

Leah built her own castle- great job!!

Leah learned to do a back flip in the air when daddy threw her- check out that height!

Celeste could not get enough of Grandma!

The girls love to dance at the cabana- Celeste was really groovin!

We all get into the Macarena- except for Leah who was not in a great mood, as you can tell!
Here she is a bit happier with Daddy!
Look at them dance the night away!

Well, that was still the beginning of the week, there is so much more to come! A great start to the week of unforgettable memories!
