Slacker

I have been slacking lately on my updates- but I have not been not busy.  I started a photography blog- you can check it out on my sidebar or from here:

http://kophotography12.blogspot.com

I'd love to expand my client list, and perhaps make a little money, but for now, I have asked several of my friends and their families if I can photograph them for my budding portfolio.  No one has turned down that offer! Free is awesome! I am so loving it, and it has become even more addicting then I thought.  I really love taking pictures, really.

Come, check it out. And don't forget to let me know what you think!!

Catch and Release

I have some catching up to do with you.  These may be random to you, but important in what has happened recently that I have overlooked.  Small things, but fun nonetheless.

So, Lanie decided that she works hard for her money:
I decided that I really hated our black garage door.  Ever since we bought this house, I have hated it.  I could rarely tell if it was open or shut.  We painted it white and now I LOVE it!  It was not hard at all, either- only 3 coats of paint plus primer from Behr, and we did it in just over an hour.  LOVE.

My Halloween mantle: Love the owls this year!
My Halloween hutch.
Love how this cucumber grew through the chicken wire! We got a ton of cukes this year! Very good year for our first year gardening!
Lots and lots of green peppers too!
Even more cherry tomatoes:
The girls and I painted our toes purple in honor of Rett Syndrome Month. My good friend Kristin's daughter suffers from this disorder and it is awful.  We love you, Brynn!
I made this wreath for my front door- love.
Alex is my new lawnmower.  He does and amazing job!
Lanie really loves pumpkins!
The new mum plant from my mom I just planted in the front landscape.
Our fall porch.
Our good friend, Rick stopped by from Georgia this week! SO happy to see him- we haven't seen him in a long time- good times!
We used to hang out together all the time. It was great catching up again!
James and Celeste were just babies when we met.  Look at how they have changed- they are now 7!!
So there, consider yourself caught up for now! I am in the midst of starting my blog book...so consuming. And we are thoroughly enjoying fall. More pics of that to come!
