Loving the Outdoors

So, I am pretty sure Winter is over- well, I hope so anyway! This week has been glorious! Even last week wasn't so bad.  Today it's 75! Could you love it anymore?! No way! This is perfect weather! Everyone wants to be outside- all the time- could you blame us?!

Fresh Air

Today was perhaps the nicest day we have had this March! It's only the 7th, I know!  Other than being awfully windy, it was warm, sunny, and so spring-like! The girls and I took 2 walks and Elaina could not get enough of being outside.  When we came in, she stood at the back door and banged on it until I opened it up so she could go out on the deck.  She LOVES it outside!! I took the girls to the park for a while today- but nearly got blown away! I CANNOT wait for everyday to be this nice! Come on Spring!!  Oh, and Elaina hit 11 months on Monday! Time flies.

Mom's Birthday

Last week was busy. Not that that is new, right?! We had Alex's winter band concert and my mom's birthday all the same day! Here are some fun shots:

Dana changed her to 46- no need to butter her up- he is already her favorite son-in-law!

I made her a white texas sheet cake- from SCRATCH!! So proud of myself, but not so proud that I ate more than I should- it has a pound of butter in it!! Half in the cake and half in the icing- YUM!! Worth every bit!

Gallery Wall

This was a long process, but I finally got it near completion!  Minus a photo of Alex (he gets his own frame), and one of Celeste in the middle of the girls frame, it is done.  I will have to get used to having such a big wall- it has been blank all this time.  I have to say that it was a work in progress for sure-

This was much harder than I expected it to be...don't look at it too closely- you might see my errors, but all in all, I am happy with the results, you?!

All Day Long

This is my girl all day long....walking, walking fast, eating paper, eating whatever is in her hands, and all the food on her tray. She LOVES cool whip (she fits right in!), and loves helping out in the kitchen. This was just one day last week, but this is what we do all day long!
