Summer Sun

It has been hot here. Summer is upon us. Our air conditioning has been running a lot. I do not mind. But sometimes Lanie just wants to be outside. So, I indulge her and we go out for a while. Thankfully she loves the water table, and I love a good book, so our combination works perfectly. Don't you think?!

WICKED

Last Friday, my good friend, Julie and I went to the Theater to see WICKED. Holy Cow! It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. So fantastic. I loved every single minute. Every single song. Every single thing. Honestly, it really was so so good. I had even a better time since my friend was with me. It is a story about friendship, in reality, so going with a girlfriend made it all the better. We only took a couple photos, so here we are, and yes, I am in an emerald green dress! Ha! LOVE.

I took Lanie to COSI for the first time a few weeks ago. She was mesmerized and had a lot of fun. So much so, that we are buying a membership! Here are some quick shots:

School's Out for Summer

Indeed it is Summer Break! Wahoo!! This year really went so fast. At least for me, not sure about the others. I am so happy we have a carefree summer this year. I want to savor each day of it. Alex is in travel baseball till mid July, Leah has Softball through the same time, but those are mainly evening activities, so we have our whole days to relax. We are excited!!
I only got pictures of Celeste on her last day of school, because Alex and Leah finished the week before, and honestly, they didn't get such a fun day to end the school year! Celeste had a wonderful end to first grade, don't you think?!
