A New Year

Finally finished 2012, and can move forward to 2013. Relief! It has already been a long winter. I am so ready for some permanent sunshine! You with me?!
January is ho hum for me. I am always down from finishing the Holiday (it's bittersweet, really), the weather is never fun, and I am broke. I am just gloomy and trying to book vacation to make the winter go by faster! We aren't doing a "family" vacation this year because it is our 15th Anniversary and just Dana and I are going somewhere. Where?! Good question. We I have yet to get that worked out. Our anniversary is in April, but because my baseball boys will be in full swing until July, we have to wait until then. So, where to? I need some ideas!!
Anyway, onto January's picture report:
These were from the 29th...we got snow- and lots and lots of it! We were on our way to take Celeste to the Doctor. She was wheezing and had to but on a steroid and breathing treatments for 10 days. She was super sick.  She perked up for this small photo shoot, but as you scroll down, you will see that was short-lived, and on the couch with a nebulizer was where she existed for many days. She even missed school the first week back. Glad she is better!

Then...Leah got sick...and Elaina...and Celeste AGAIN! Ahhhh! I was so done with all the sickies!! Leah got a sinus infection, was prescribed Ammoxicillian, which she has had many a times before, took it for a week, and then broke out in hives. HIVES! From her head to her feet, in between toes, fingers, in her ears and even in her belly button! YIKES! She is now labeled allergic to Penicillian, and with the help of Aveeno, cleared up in about 5 days.  Crazy!

Lanie got a double ear infection and was wheezing too, so she had breathing treatments as well. As long as Elmo was on, she would sit like this, but only for about 8 minutes, so we did them a lot.

January is full of surprises...we got two 60 degree days out of the blue! How nice!! The girls played outside and we enjoyed every minute, because the very next day, it was 20 degrees! Only in Ohio!

Alex started his basketball season. This was the second game. His team is not so good.  They work hard, though. Alex always has some points, and this game he did really well. He just recently got his contacts, so no more sports in glasses!!

Well, that was January! Happy to be in February! It's Valentine's Day already! I really love this holiday. So fun to decorate- I love the hearts and pink and reds...for our gifts, we bought new Nike's for each of us. Now I have to start running again....anyone want to join?!
Stay tuned for February!!
